There are seven maps in this collection, and I'll attempt to look at them from oldest to newest. It is difficult to know just how old some of these maps are. There are some clues based on what certain areas are called, what has disappeared, and occasionally an actual date. But even then, I believe some of these could be based on earlier maps that were updated and the dates end up meaning less. (meaningless)
For each map, I'll zoom in and note some of the interesting features. I'll also include a link to a large version, so you can have a close look for yourself. There should be some old timers out there who can correct some of my misguided assertions, and I'll pass along any new info I receive.
Most of these were created by amateurs, but what they lack in scale and artistry, they more than make up for, with the obvious joy of time spent along the banks of the Salt Fork, that they represent.
I'll get started on the next page, and the site will grow over time, so if the ONWARD link doesn't work, check back later for the next installment.
