Lantern

Step into the Lantern program area, a hub of diverse learning opportunities located at the Myers Shelter, just north of the Trading Post. This modern and inviting space serves as the perfect setting for a wide array of merit badge programs, each designed to enhance key skills and knowledge in Scouts and leaders alike.

At Lantern, we specialize in a range of engaging subjects, including Communication, Photography, Personal Management, Citizenship in the World, Citizenship in the Nation, Salesmanship, and Fingerprinting. These programs are carefully crafted to develop important life skills, from effective communication and global understanding to financial savvy and civic responsibility.

The Lantern's focus on communication skills makes it an ideal location for a vibrant and interactive educational experience. Scouts will have the opportunity to explore the art of photography, delve into the complexities of personal and national management, and understand the finer points of salesmanship and fingerprinting.

Our educational sessions are not just about imparting knowledge; they are about creating an environment where Scouts can engage, question, and understand the world around them. The Myers Shelter provides a comfortable and conducive setting for these sessions, ensuring that every Scout has the opportunity to shine and excel in their chosen areas.

The Lantern program area is more than just a collection of merit badge classes; it's a place of discovery and growth, where Scouts can broaden their horizons and develop skills that will serve them well beyond their time at camp.
